AG Alogna
The working group is devoted to testing and developing innovative therapies and drug-delivery systems in cardiovascular medicine. By leveraging established large animal models of cardiovascular disease, we seamlessly integrate imaging and invasive characterization of cardiac and vascular function with histological and molecular analysis. Furthermore, our commitment extends particularly to elucidating the hemodynamic mechanisms underlying both preclinical and clinical heart failure.
