The DHZC Supervisory Board acts as a supervisory and decision-making body that is responsible for the strategic direction of the DHZC. Its tasks include approving the sub-budget and monitoring economic performance and compliance with legal requirements. It makes key decisions regarding construction and investment projects, the appointment of members of the DHZC Executive Board and the strategic development of the DHZC.

The members of the DHZC Supervisory Board include:

• Prof. Dr. Heyo K. Kroemer, Chairman of the Board of Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin (Chairman of the DHZC Supervisory Board)
• Prof. Dr. Hans Maier, Chairman of the Board & CEO of the German Heart Center Foundation (Deputy Chairman of the DHZC Board of Directors)
• Jan Eder, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the German Heart Center Foundation
• Irmtraut Gürkan, graduate economist, most recently Commercial Director of Heidelberg University Hospital, Deputy Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of Charité
• Prof. Dr. Beate Kampmann, Scientific Director of the Charité Center for Global Health
• Prof. Dr. Jürgen Mlynek, Chairman of the Falling Walls Foundation and Member of the Board of the German Heart Center Foundation
