What to Expect During Your Checkup
Prepare as thoroughly as possible by bringing the following with you:
- Documents regarding your medical history
- Information about chronic conditions (e.g., high blood pressure, diabetes)
- Previous test results and medical reports
- A current list of medications
During an in-depth consultation, we will discuss:
- Current symptoms (e.g., chest pain, shortness of breath, heart palpitations)
- Your lifestyle (diet, exercise, smoking, alcohol consumption)
- Measurement of blood pressure, pulse, and respiratory rate
- Determination of body weight and body mass index (BMI)
- Listening to the heart to detect abnormalities
Depending on your needs, we perform the following tests:
- Resting ECG: Analysis of the heart’s electrical activity
- Stress ECG (bicycle ergometer): Assessment of cardiac exercise capacity
- Echocardiography: Ultrasound of the heart to assess structure and function
- Doppler/Duplex Sonography: Examination of the carotid arteries
- Long-term ECG (24 hours)
- Long-term blood pressure monitoring (24 hours)
- Oxygen saturation
- Blood tests: e.g., cholesterol, blood sugar, inflammatory markers
- Pacemaker checkup if necessary for existing implants
Optional:
- Cardiac CT or MRI for further diagnostic evaluation
- Coronary angiography if narrowing of the coronary arteries is suspected
After evaluating all results:

The basic screening starts at 257 € and includes all standard tests. Depending on your individual risk profile, additional tests may be added following a consultation with a physician. This may result in additional costs, which we will inform you of in advance.
