The DHZC Board of Directors acts as a supervisory and decision-making body that is responsible for the strategic direction of the DHZC. Its tasks include approving the sub-budget and monitoring economic performance and compliance with legal requirements. It makes key decisions regarding construction and investment projects, the appointment of members of the DHZC Divisional managers and the strategic development of the DHZC.

The members of the DHZC Board of Directors include:

• Prof. Dr Heyo K. Kroemer, Chairman of the Board of Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin (Chairman of the DHZC Board of Directors)
• Prof Dr Hans Maier, Chairman of the Board of the DHZB Foundation (Deputy Chairman of the DHZC Board of Directors)
• Jan Eder, Managing Director of the IHK Berlin and Deputy Chairman of the Board of the DHZB Foundation
• Irmtraut Gürkan, graduate economist, most recently Commercial Director of Heidelberg University Hospital, Deputy Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of Charité
• Prof. Dr. Beate Kampmann, Scientific Director of the Charité Center for Global Health
• Prof Dr Jürgen Mlynek, Chairman of the Falling Walls Foundation and Member of the Board of the DHZB Foundation
