Customised courses for radiologists, cardiologists and nuclear medicine specialists
The German Heart Center Berlin’s (Deutschen Herzzentrums Berlin) international leadership in the development and application of cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging led to the founding of the CMR Academy in 2001. Since the installation of its first MR scanner in 1996, the German Heart Center Berlin has played a globally leading role in the clinical application, research, and training in the field of CMR. In 2026, the CMR Academy subsidiary was transferred into the DHZB Academy.
The German Heart Center of the Charité examines approximately 3,000 patients per year using two state-of-the-art MRI systems, covering the full diagnostic spectrum. Working together with the physicians of the German Heart Center of the Charité, more than 1,000 German and international participants have attended and successfully completed our CMR courses to date.
