Cardiovascular Telemedicine
The Cardiovascular Telemedicine department was founded at Charité in 2008 and has been part of the DHZC since 2023. The employees of the department develop telemedical product innovations in research projects and test them in clinical trials.
We also look after patients with chronic heart failure at our Centre for Cardiovascular Telemedicine. We also offer this telemedical co-care for patients as a regular health insurance benefit.
The opportunities of telemedicine
The internet, smartphones and PCs make it possible: thanks to fast and secure digital transmission channels, medical services can now increasingly be provided from a distance. These possibilities are known as telemedicine.
