At the Deutsches Herzzentrum der Charité, more than 500 nursing staff care for patients of all age groups: in the operating theatre or in the cardiac catheterisation laboratory, on our intensive care or general care wards. Tangible benefits
We offer 30 days of holiday as standard. Depending on your shift schedule, this can be increased to 39 days. If you work in stressful shifts, you will receive additional days off.

Frequently asked questions
Q: How will I be paid?
A: We will pay you fairly and transparently in accordance with the collective agreement – including 30 days' holiday. You can find the collective agreements and salary scales here.
Q: How does the application process work?
A: As soon as you have submitted your documents, we will review them and contact you. If you meet the criteria for the position, we will invite you to an interview – this can be done digitally or in person, as you prefer. Work shadowing is possible on request and is also mandatory in some cases. You can expect a final response to your application after the interview (and, if applicable, the work shadowing) in about one week.
Q: Is there an option to work part-time?
A: In general, we always offer the option to work part-time. Whether and in what form is best discussed directly with your contact person.

Paediatric Intensive Care at DHZC
At the DHZC, paediatric intensive care nurses play a central role in the care of children with heart disease. We work in a highly specialised, interdisciplinary team and are there for our patients around the clock.
