Care at the DHZC

At the Deutsches Herzzentrum der Charité, over 500 nursing staff care for patients of all ages: In the operating theatre or in cardiac catheterisation, on our intensive or normal care wards.
On these pages we would like to give you an overview of our departments and our nursing wards. And we invite you to get to know some of our team members.

We do our best every day to help our patients. Despite all the technical progress, we never forget how important human attention is for successful treatment.

Close cooperation with social services

The social service offers patients and relatives important support in the form of social and legal counselling. It provides information on financial assistance and social services that can be utilised. In consultation with the nursing service, the social services department coordinates the aftercare and care of patients after discharge.
