Our outpatient clinics at a glance
The Deutsches Herzzentrum der Charité (DHZC) is a specialist clinic for cardiovascular diseases. It comprises a total of seven clinics, which are located at the three clinical campuses of the Charité: at the Campus Virchow-Klinikum in Berlin-Wedding, at the Campus Charité Mitte in Berlin-Mitte and at the Campus Benjamin Franklin in Berlin-Steglitz.
At all three locations, we operate specialised outpatient clinics and consultation hours for patients with cardiovascular diseases: We have four cardiology outpatient clinics, an outpatient clinic for congenital heart defects - paediatric cardiology and a cardiac surgery outpatient clinic. All of these outpatient clinics also offer specialised consultations for all cardiovascular conditions.
Our medical care centre
In addition, we offer outpatient services not only at our clinics, but also at the two specialist practices of our medical care centre (MVZ).
The practice for internal medicine and cardiology is located on the Virchow-Klinikum campus. The team of the Heart Practice Wilmersdorf is located in Berlin-Wilmersdorf. The specialists working there cooperate closely with the specialists at our outpatient clinics.

Services of our outpatient clinics
Our outpatient teams offer a wide range of medical services: They deal with the diagnosis, treatment and aftercare of patients with cardiovascular diseases, conduct consultations and also offer preventive measures such as check-ups. Some outpatient clinics also offer the opportunity to obtain a second opinion.
We only use the latest technologies and treatment methods for diagnosis and therapy.

Things to know about the appointment
- Please arrive on time for your appointment and allow sufficient time (approx. two hours) for the consultation and examinations.
- Please bring your health card and a referral from your GP to your first appointment.
- Depending on your concerns and illness, it may also be necessary for you to bring your current findings and image data (e.g. heart ultrasound) to the appointment so that we can provide you with the best possible advice and treatment.
- Please note that cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the appointment

- You have the option of registering by email or telephone.
