We are the Clinic for Cardiology, Angiology and Intensive Care Medicine at the main site of the German Heart Centre Charité, one of the largest cardiology units in Berlin. The size of the clinic and the experience gained from over 6,000 inpatient treatments and around 20,000 outpatient contacts per year guarantee the high level of expertise of our doctors, even in rare and complex diseases. It is our daily aspiration to translate this into sustainably successful and patient-centred treatment for our patients.
Our specialised and interdisciplinary teams have access to the entire spectrum of diagnostics and treatment in all areas of cardiology. Our clinic at a glance
In our cardiology outpatient clinic, we offer comprehensive care for patients with all types of heart disease, including pacemaker and defibrillator checks. We also have an emergency outpatient clinic for acute chest pain (Chest Pain Unit). We also care for inpatients at the German Heart Centre.

Our cardiac surgery and cardiology teams have been working closely together for years in the treatment of heart valve patients. This collaboration is now being further expanded and consolidated in the new unit for catheter-based heart valve interventions: In the "Structural Heart Interventions Programme (SHIP)".

Berlin-Brandenburg Heart Attack Register e.V.
The cardiology clinics of the DHZC at the Wedding, Mitte and Steglitz sites actively participate in the Berlin-Brandenburg Heart Attack Register (B2HIR).
The B2HIR serves to ensure the quality of care for patients with heart attacks in the participating clinics. It uses the data collected in the clinics to analyse whether the clinics are treating their patients in accordance with the guidelines.

Take the A2 and A10 to the Funkturm motorway junction, then take the A100 towards Hamburg/Wedding, and continue on Seestrasse to Augustenburger Platz.
