Programme extract

In action: everyday life in the various departments

Experience how all professional groups at the DHZC - from nursing to functional services, medical services, cardiotechnology and many more - working together closely, across disciplines and without hierarchies. You will gain exciting insights into our working world, which is characterised by indispensable teamwork.

A look behind the scenes: Clinic tours

We will show you many areas of the DHZC: normal, intensive and transplantation wards, cardiac catheterisation labs and hybrid operating theatres, which enable combined surgical and catheter-based procedures.

Live insights into the work on the heart

We want to show you how our surgical team works together "up close and personal" during the live commentary of a heart operation.

Interactive information stands

At information stands, in workshops and with film screenings, we will introduce you to the broad spectrum of medical specialities at the DHZC. Artificial hearts, heart-lung machines and other innovative technologies will be presented in a practical way. Our colleagues and some patients are looking forward to talking to you.
