The newly designed modular course in perioperative echocardiography is aimed at anyone interested in this imaging procedure and covers all examination modalities for cardiac surgery and catheter-based interventions. We have been running transesophageal echocardiography courses with great success since 1999.

The modules cover the entire spectrum, including 3D echocardiography, quantitative echocardiography, speckle tracking, and echocardiography during catheter-based interventions.

The use of transthoracic echocardiography during interventional procedures in local anaesthesia, in patients in the recovery room and in the intensive care unit has increased significantly in importance.

The DHZB Academy offers new modules on this topic for perioperative focused transthoracic echocardiography.

Our modules correspond to the new guidelines of the DGAI and are certified by the German Society for Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine (DGAI)and the Berlin Medical Association.
